  • Administrative Support - Customer Service Clerk
    Starting at $15.50/hr - Full Time, generally Monday – Friday, 8 to 5 (skills test required)
    We are seeking a qualified, dynamic individual to serve on our finance team as the Administrative Support and Customer Service Clerk. This position is supervised by the Director of Finance and Administration. This person will act as the secondary customer service contact for utility customers and will staff the Finance service counter which involves daily contact with the public in person, via telephone, electronic and written correspondence. Duties include accepting and processing a variety of payments for water & sewer utility accounts, various City permits and licenses, maintaining accurate fiscal records and databases for customer billing, preparing daily bank deposits, providing general customer service, and providing administrative support to the Finance department.

    Preferred qualifications include experience in accounts receivable, automated accounting applications and customer service. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, successful work-related experience and demonstrated office skills including proficiency with MSWord/Excel. Additional education or experience in accounting, bookkeeping or related fields is preferred. PC publishing skills are desirable.

  • Prosecuting Attorney
    This is a new position. We are seeking a full-time prosecutor to provide prosecution and related services in the Belgrade City Court. Prosecution in the City Court has historically been provided by contract prosecutors. The prosecutor will have the opportunity to establish a new office. Funding has been budgeted to provide 1 support staff person and reasonable operating expenses. The Belgrade City Court administers justice in misdemeanor cases for the Belgrade Community, and is not a court of record. The prosecutor is expected to maintain a broad view of community justice, and cultivate effective professional relationships with the Court, the Belgrade Police Department and Victim Advocates.

    The base salary for this position is proposed at $66,000 to $70,000. In addition to a base salary, compensation will include benefits listed below, and a deferred compensation matching plan, currently up to 7 percent of base salary.   • Community Service Officer (Code Enforcement and Animal Control) – Police Department
    $18.00 to $20.50/hr DOE - Full Time 8 to 5, scheduled days may vary including weekends
    Performs a variety of duties related to non-emergency public safety and code enforcement, including Animal Control. This position reports to the Chief of Police. Includes regular contact and response to citizens regarding various concerns, such as, animal complaints, parking violations, abandoned vehicles and nuisance properties; issues citations per city ordinance. Work is typically performed outdoors with potential to work in weather extremes.

  • Youth Services Librarian
    Pay Range: $14.40 to $19.00 per hour
    Full Time, 40/hrs per week, shifts may include 1-2 evenings per week, 1-2 Saturdays per month Master’s Degree or equivalent is preferred. Experience with Children/Youth services is preferred. The Youth Services Librarian will provide library services to youth, including reference, reader’s advisory, programming, community activities, and collection development, as well as serve as head of the library’s children’s and teen departments. Open until filled.
