  • Circulation Clerk/Library Sub
    $10-$11.50/hr DOE, P/T 24 hrs per week
    Evenings and weekends required. Circulation desk duties will include assisting patrons, locating materials, answering basic reference questions, data input and shelving materials.

    Requires High school graduate or equivalent; prefer min of 18 months library or other related professional work; Computer skills essential. Benefits include Pension Plan option, paid vacation, sick leave & holidays. Position is open until filled.   • Utility Billing Clerk
    The City of Belgrade is seeking a qualified, dynamic individual to serve as our Utility Billing Clerk. This position is full time, and is supervised by the Director of Finance and Administration. This person will act as the primary customer service contact for utility customers and will staff the Finance service counter which involves daily contact with the public in person, via telephone, electronic and written correspondence.

    Duties include accepting and processing payments for water & sewer utility accounts, various City permits and licenses, maintaining records and databases for customer billing, preparing daily bank deposits, providing general customer service, and providing administrative support to the Finance department.

    Preferred qualifications include experience in accounts receivable and automated accounting applications and principles. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, successful work related experience and demonstrated office skills including proficiency with MSWord/Excel.

    Initial compensation will be $13.00 to $16.00 per hour. Benefits include health insurance, PERS retirement plan, paid vacation, sick leave and holidays. This position is open until filled.   • Seasonal Maintenance Worker
    $12 to $14/hr - Full Time Seasonal from May thru October - hours are generally 6:30am to 5:30pm with 1 hour lunch. Experience using lawn equipment and small tools. Perform a variety of repairs and maintenance duties in the City parks and facilities. Duties may include cleaning park restrooms, mowing and maintaining parks, and athletic fields, collecting and disposing of trash, maintaining sprinkler systems. Painting and minor carpentry in parks and buildings. Planting lawns, trees and flowers. Application and references required.

  • Support Services Technician
    Police Department This position is full time, and reports to the Support Services Supervisor and Chief of Police. This is primarily an office position which involves a great deal of contact with the public in various forms. This individual will answer telephones and relay information and communications via radio with Officers. Duties include entering data into the Police Dept RMS system and Criminal Justice Info Network. Requires a strong skill set in transcription, typing, filing and organization. Will assist with fingerprinting process and background checks. Must possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills as well as the ability to deal with difficult and sometimes angry individuals. This includes dealing with confidential and possibly offensive materials on a daily basis.

    Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrated skills in transcription, accurate typing and filing, and successful office related experience. Preferred qualifications include advanced computer skills with data base systems, experience with radio communications and past work experience in a Police agency.

    Initial compensation will be $13.00 to $16.00 per hour. Benefits include health insurance, PERS retirement plan, paid vacation, sick leave and holidays. This position is open until filled.
