Chapter 11.18 : PLI-Public Lands and Institutions
11.18.020 Permitted Uses

11.18.080 Permitted Conditional Uses
11.18.010 Intent. The intent of this district is to provide for major public and quasi-public uses outside of other districts. Not all public and quasi-public uses need be classified PLI. Some may fit within other districts; however, the larger areas should be distinguished PLI.
11.18.020 Permitted Uses.
1). Accessory buildings
2). Airports and customary accessory uses required for the operation of airports.
4). Conditional uses as provided in Section 11.18.080 of this ordinance and subject to conditions and requirements prescribed.
5). Museums, zoos, historic and cultural exhibits.
6). Open space.
7). Other public buildings, i.e., fire and policed stations and municipal buildings.
8). Public and non-profit quasi-public institutions, i.e., universities, elementary, junior, and senior high schools and hospitals.
9). Publicly-owned land used for parks, playgrounds and open space.
10). Temporary buildings used for during construction only.
11.18.030 Lot Area and Width. No requirement.
11.18.040 Lot Coverage. The entire lot, exclusive of required yards and parking, may be occupied by the principal and accessory buildings.
11.18.050 Yards. No requirement except when a lot is adjacent to another district. The yards then shall be the same as the adjacent district.
11.18.070 Off-Street Parking. Off-street parking shall be provided in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 11.24 of this code.
11.18.080 Off-Street Loading. Off-street loading shall be provided
in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 11.25 of this code.
11.18.090 Permitted Conditional Uses. The following uses may be permitted as conditional uses in the PLI-Public Lands and Institutions District.
1). Permitted and Conditional uses permitted within the B-1, B-2, B-3,. M-1, and M-2 zones when compatible with surrounding public uses.
